I play in the Buffalo Philharmonic and it is well known we have terrible winters (cold and dry, icy), your HumidiPro case is a no-brainer for many of us winds in the BPO. However, it was really beautiful this past Friday for our morning coffee and donuts concert. I have no idea how it happened…perhaps the sensible shoes I was wearing or being overly excited for the takeout we were going to pick up on our way home, but I tripped on something evil and tumbled shoulder first, skidding onto the street traumatizing a few patrons and my poor partner. My 10 year old triple Humidipro case went flying as I did the beginner mistake of trying to fight the fall. Although my body ended up with several ugly booboos, my clarinets were completely unharmed, not a joint out of place. Even my case cover survived, embarrassed but intact. I can’t thank you enough for your ingenuity, the concert Saturday night would have been a nightmare.
