WHY YOUR INSTRUMENT NEEDS HUMIDIPRO

The wood in your instrument was seasoned and manufactured in controlled humidity conditions. When it leaves this controlled environment it starts to change. This not only stresses the wood, it also affects the critical bore and tone hole measurements.

The good news is that WOOD HAS A MEMORY, and once it is placed in an ideal humidity controlled environment again it will RETURN to its original dimensions, and not be affected when it is being played. Our airtight cases use a special product inside the case that ADDS or SUBTRACTS humidity, insuring the ideal level for maximum protection of the Wood.

HumidiPro Case Covers

Manufactured from strong Cordura Nylon, with Fleece lining. All covers have a music compartment, accessories compartment, and shoulder strap. Double and Triple Covers also have back pack straps.

HumidiPro “Ultra” Case Covers

TEMPERATURE ABUSE is just as dangerous as HUMIDITY ABUSE! Our “Ultra” Case Cover eliminates this danger by keeping the wood at the ideal playing temperature at all times.

* Our HumidiPro Case Covers are designed ONLY to fit our HumidiPro Cases. Using them on a regular case can cause the wood to dry out and can result in damage to your instrument.

The “Ultra” Case Cover gradually warms the instrument up from the OUTSIDE IN. Heating first the case and then the instruments inside of the case. This allows the wood to be evenly warmed throughout, preventing any thermal stress when the instrument is played. The “Ultra” Case Cover keeps this safe temperature level for over an hour even in freezing temperatures, allowing worry free travel to the rehearsal or concert. An optional D.C. Car Adaptor is available for extended trips in cold weather as well as a rechargeable battery pack.
